Ethics is the study of moral questions, and seeks to systematically examine the concepts of right and wrong.
The three major branches of ethics are:
- Meta-ethics which concerns the nature and epistemology of ethics itself,
- Normative ethics which seeks to establish a more theoretical conception of ethics, usually through philosophical academic discourse, and
- Applied ethics (or Practical Ethics) seeks to address moral dilemmas in a practical way.
